Whilst being isolated I knocked out these (mainly small) paintings.
there are about a hundred, with probably more to come.

Conclusion
A reply to Denise Smith.
Drop by drop, the painting is filled. The Corona post probably carries most of my output of presentation & production & intension. In the blog, I was trying to "let fly" as much as possible. With as few rules to follow as possible. I knew I was going to be by myself for a while & was keen to see what I would come out with.
| It was more of an experiment than a challenge or goal to aim at.
Anyway, your two questions in/of point are comfortable enough to answer: Perspective with line ~ Maybe deep down inside I feel that would make it a bit too easy to read ~ I would like there to be a challenge for the viewer, I don't like the idea of being too obvious. I also like conveying depth by other means, like colour or/and degree of tonal difference. Although, I wouldn't deliberately avoid drawing in perspective.
~The same non-deliberate avoidance applies to the inclusion of a central focal point. But I do feel even in more pattered work that I am building the thing up to a highlight or highlights.
I remember some of my earliest art / painting tuition went along the lines of "see how that persons hand & arm seem to blend in/disappear into that tree branch" Also I do tend to think that in many situations everything is as important as each other. A living, breathing planet syndrome! ~ everything is connecting to each other.
The titles come up a long time after the start of "sport" ~ maybe they are a part of the whole thing coming into focus.
| Highlighting the highlights.
Having said all that, the thing that helped propel me into painting was actually looking at & drawing carpets along the lines of "a world of its own" |
