This started off as a design for a competition for a poster for the Cheltenham jazz festival back in the early 80’s. I must have been fooling myself - starting off a poster on a medium sized canvas. |

This construction is a
follow~on from the above “big day out”
I found some old knitting machine parts in a box of my mother’s odds and sods & it sprung to me that these were in fact “bods” fit for a big day out. 2017. |

EV RI BO DI DANZ. After a solitary painting weekend in Erdington ( June last year) & producing (off the cuff) yet another dance spectacular, I realised how many of my doodles turn into dances. They can be a big deal on a day out! |
